Modern Family Home
The property was in much need of modernising. A complete remodel scheme with extensions and modern design style was proposed.
Working closely with the clients, a brief was developed. The aim was to provide stylish comfortable living, open up the property to light, views and links with the garden and take every opportunity to upgrade the building fabric & services.
The house has been given a new lease of life with many attractive & functional features providing a sustainable home for the future.
Contemporary Balcony
The main challenge of this project was to provide a balcony above a contemporary extension, whilst maintaining privacy for the clients and their neighbours. As well as this, we also needed to satisfy the planning authority.
Many options were explored using elevations. Mood boards and 3D rendering.
We were able to successfully negotiate with the local planning authority, adapting the design to meet their requirements. This allowed us to provide a balcony with views out to the Isle-of-Wight
